Account & Rewards

How do I create an account?

Creating an account only takes a minute. You can sign up with your email, or use Shop or Google options for a fast, one-click login on the login page. Once your account is created, we’ll send a confirmation email. Having an account helps track orders, manage addresses, and access exclusive offers.

Do you offer any rewards or perks?

Yes! When you create an account, you’ll receive $5 OFF your first order using HAPPYFOX5 coupon code. We also offer free shipping on orders over $75, and a free gift (such as tea samples) on purchases over $100 (before taxes).

I forgot my password — what should I do?

No worries! You don’t need a password to log in. Just go to the login page, enter your email, and we’ll send you a temporary code to access your account. Check your email (and your spam folder, just in case), enter the code, and you’ll be logged in instantly.

Placing an Order

How can I place an order?

Simply browse our teas, coffees, and accessories, add them to your cart, and checkout securely through our online store.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If your order hasn’t shipped yet, contact us as soon as possible at support@happy-fox.ca, and we’ll do our best to adjust it.

Payment & Taxes

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept secure payments through Shopify Payments.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely — all transactions are processed through Shopify’s encrypted and verified gateway.

Do you charge sales taxes?

There are no sales taxes on food items, including teas and coffees. Other non-food products (like accessories) may be taxed based on your province.

We currently ship to these canadian provinces:

We do not currently ship to the Yukon, Northwest Territories, or Nunavut.

What are your shipping rates?

Our shipping prices depends on your location and the shipping method you select at checkout. We offer Standard (0–1.99 kg), Express (0–1.99 kg), and Standard (2–30 kg) shipping options.

Free Shipping:
Orders over $75 before tax ship free anywhere in Canada, with the exception of Yukon, Northwest Territories, or Nunavut. Free delivery uses Standard delivery method.

Atlantic Canada (NB, NS, PEI, NL)

  • 0–1.99 kg Standard: $16.90
  • 0–1.99 kg Express: $24.90
  • 2–30 kg Standard: $24.90

Central Canada (ON, QC)

  • 0–1.99 kg Standard: $14.90
  • 0–1.99 kg Express: $21.90
  • 2–30 kg Standard: $21.90

Prairies (MB, SK, AB)

  • 0–1.99 kg Standard: $17.90
  • 0–1.99 kg Express: $25.90

West Coast (BC)

How can I track my order?

You’ll receive a tracking link once your order ships. Also check your spam folder. If you still can't find the email, please feel free to contact us at the following email address: support@happy-fox.ca.

Which carriers do you use?

We work with several carriers to guarantee fast and affordable shipping — including UPS, Canada Post (when not on strike!), Purolator, Canpar, and aggregators like Chit Chats and FlagShip.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days. We work from Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays.

Delivery time depends on your location and the shipping method you select at checkout. Orders are shipped from Ottawa, Ontario:

  • Express Shipping: 1–2 business days
  • Standard Shipping: 3–9 business days

Delivery times may be longer for distant or remote locations and can be affected by factors outside our control, such as weather or carrier delays.

My package hasn’t arrived — what should I do?

If your package has shipped and you received your tracking number, please contact the carrier directly using your tracking number. Once the order has been shipped, they will be better placed to assist you.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return an item?

Yes — we accept returns on broken or defective items, as well as orders where an incorrect item was sent. Open-box returns are accepted if the item is like new. Contact us within 14 days of delivery. Find more details in our Return Policy page.

Can I return opened packages of tea or coffee?

For food safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened or consumed tea or coffee.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return is approved and processed, you’ll receive your refund within 5–7 business days.

Teas & Coffees

Where do your teas and coffees come from?

We carefully source our teas and coffees from trusted growers around the world. We currently have teas from China and Japan, and we have coffees from Peru. All teas and coffees are sourced from canadian importers.

Are your products organic and ethically sourced?

Many of our products are both organic and ethically sourced. You’ll see the details on each product page and on the packaging.

How should I store my tea or coffee?

Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from light — ideally in an airtight container.
