Refund policy

Return eligibility

We accept return requests for eligible online orders within 14 days of delivery. To begin a return, please contact us in writing at support@happy-fox.ca with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions, including the return shipping location (682 Churchill Avenue North Unit 206, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, K1Z 5G5).

Returned items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. Items that appear opened, used, or altered may not be accepted for refund due to safety, hygiene, or product integrity reasons.

Return shipping costs

  • Our error: If the return is due to an error on our part (incorrect or defective product), we will cover return shipping costs and provide a prepaid shipping label.
  • Change of mind: If the return is due to a change of mind, customer preference, or an incorrect address provided at checkout, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Shipping damage: If a product was damaged during delivery, the customer must file a claim with the carrier (Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, etc.).

Refund processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or declined. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Final sale items (non-returnable)

For safety, hygiene, and food-handling reasons, the following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:

  • Teas, coffees, herbs, and other food products
  • Digital products
  • Clearance items
  • Free gifts, promotional items, or samples included in your order

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. To exchange a product, please request a return (if eligible) and place a new order.
